Musica Universalis
A new work revealed at Day for Night
This weekend we unveiled a brand new temporary installation at the Day for Night Festival, Houston Texas. A series of kinetic, physical sculptures, Musica Universalis is inspired by Pythagoras' theory 'The Harmony of the Spheres'. The sculptures each contain a spherical form and a mechanism driving a rotating light source and speaker. Light is cast through the space creating interventions and interactions with the architecture.
The work can be found on the second floor of the festival venue, a former post office building and the line-up features appearances by Aphex Twin, Bjork, Shoplifter and NONOTAK among many others.
