Topologies #1 at Nxt Museum

Topologies #1 is currently on show in Amsterdam at Nxt Museum the first museum dedicated to new media art in the Netherlands. As part of the group exhibition, Shifting Proximities, Topologies #1 is the first in a new series of works and consists of five sculptures that project planes of light stretching across a 25m long room, creating shifting geometries that continuously divide and reconfigure the space. Visitors traverse a 25 metre long room through imposing yet immaterial walls, creating a sort of intangible realm that alters the viewers’ perception and their relationship with the space they occupy.
