Hereafter

Hereafter

Tokyo/Belsay/London, 2007

UVA’s video installation Hereafter lets viewers re-evaluate their sense of time. It resembles a mirror, but does not show a conventional reflection. A high-speed camera is used to create a live history of the space, weaving previous recorded moments, objects and people together.

Hereafter was first displayed in May 2008 at Mori Tower as part of the launch of UK-Japan 2008 and has since been displayed at Belsay Hall in Northumberland, as well as the Royal Academy of Arts and the Wellcome Collection in London.
